2-1-1 Tehama’s Launch Party

Tehama Together and United Way of Northern California have been working for the past four years to bring 2-1-1 services to Tehama County. Finally after planning, fundraising, networking, and receiving approval from the CPUC, the time has arrived for having 2-1-1 Tehama services available by internet and phone. On Tuesday, February 11, on National 211 Day, 2-1-1 Tehama will be launched and available for our local residents.

To celebrate this occasion, you are invited to attend the Board of Supervisors meeting at 10:00 am when we will receive a proclamation designating February as 2-1-1 Awareness Month. This will be followed from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm with a ribbon cutting, refreshments and recognition of supporters at Pine Street Plaza at 332 Pine Street.

Needless to say, they are hoping the 2-1-1 launch is more successful than the launch of the Affordable Care Act!
