Respite

Respite is a program that offers personalized support, love and attention to children, youth, and adults with a diagnosis. It also provides valuable time-off for their families. And, like all services at RFENC it’s free!

Parents, if you like, our respite care providers can work on improving your child’s social and emotional skills based on goals indicated on your intake paperwork. Or they can engage your child during play time. Simply put, you don’t have to worry about your child. Go have a date night. Go shopping. Or just go get some sleep. The choice is yours! Our services can help you, the parents, maintain a healthy family dynamic. Hopefully you’ll feel refreshed when you return.

Our planned respite program is here to help your family receive a quality service that brings peace, balance and strength to your home. We employ a pool of providers, but you’re also welcome to specify someone like a close personal friend, family member, or somebody else you’re comfortable with. Once that person goes through our hiring process and gets approved you can begin to use him or her as your respite provider.
